"Why is she crying?"
Yet another quick drawing I've made ^^ This time it's not a part of the previous three-parted series. It was a random thought that came on my mind last night while I listened to some depressive black metal (Coldworld, Drudkh etc.).
This is the first part of the two other quick drawings I've made: #2 "Every Rose Has Its Thorns" [link] #3 "Tears of the Unspoken" [link]
You are free to interpretate the question, "why is she crying?", the way you want Please tell me what you can see/feel through this drawing ^^
Wow, this is so beautiful, I especially love the smudged eye-make-up My interpretation: looking at the hair, and the eye-makeup, she's probably a little bit of a goth or a bit depressed. Her hair and eyes could be messed up cuz maybe she's just been beaten up, and she's sitting crying after the abuser has left. She looks sort of in despair, like she's given up hope of better things happening. Her hair looks damp, so maybe she's been under some physical stress too. Either way, a fantastic piece of art.

Thank you so much That's a very good and interesting interpretation of it, I must say And each one of them fits perfect The one I've been focusing most on, is some kind of abuse (violence, rape etc.), like your second interpretation says ^^ Thanks for sharing your point of view

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
