AT LAST!!! The drawing is finally finished!
This is a drawing I've made of my #1 favourite band of all time;
THE CURE
To me they are without a doubt the best band in the whole world! And for 32 years(!) they've made the most unique and brilliant music, which has changed my life forever

This is the current line-up (2005 - present) of The Cure
From left to right:
- Robert Smith (singer, guitarist)
- Jason Cooper (drummer)
- Simon Gallup (bassist)
- Porl Thompson (guitarist)

And YES! That's actually how they look like. (Fortunately) they're not the typical cute and "innocent"-looking guys you would expect a typical rockband to be like. And that's what makes them so damn cool and unique! ^^

I already started this drawing back in February, where I went to a concert with the The Cure in Copenhagen (13/2 - 2008). That was the very first time I saw The Cure in real life. It was an absolutely amazing experience. It was actually the best day of my entire life!
And a couple of days afterwards I decided to draw them =]

But because of many other things which prevented me from keep drawing it (preparation for the upcoming exams, applications for my following education/work etc.), I wasn't able to get any free time to draw on... =/ So I first got it finished yesterday. But hopefully it has been all worth it I hope.. Personally I'm very satisfied with the result of this drawing

The idea was to finish it on the 21rst of April (Robert Smith's 49th birthday ^^), but unfortunately I couln't find the time.. Nevertheless, better now than never. I still might have a chance to make something alike for his 50th birthday
