"Another life, another time... We're Siamese twins writhing intertwined Face to face, no telling lies... The masks they slide to reveal a new disguise"
Almost 2 months has passed since my last drawing. As soon as I finished "Eye of Decay" back in the beginning of August month, I started on a new drawing right away during my vacation in Norway. But it's not this one you see now.. It was a drawing of a vampire, but I became very unsatisfied as I kept on drawing and realized that I just made it look uglier and uglier... So I ended up scratching that project.
So instead I made this one, which I think was worth all the time and effort I put into it. I started working on it about 2 weeks ago and finished it this night ^^
It's my second pencil portrait of Susan Janet Ballion, better known as Siouxsie Sioux, my favourite female musician The result turned out the exact way I wanted it to be/look like, which is extremely rare for me The preluding quote on the above is a piece of the song "Face to Face", made by Siouxsie & the Banshees, which really caught my ear when I listened to it. It was very inspiring during the whole process. Like always you're of course free to interpret the drawing the way you want ^^
WOW!! THis is Gorgeous!! I love the red of the fingernails, just that little bit of color really adds to an overall beautiful piece!! You as an artist are coming along quite nicely!! Fantastic job!!
Man your shading pwns! And I just love how the nail color stands out! She reminds me of a silent film actress and in a pose a lot like this! I guess I like it so much because it has that silent movie touch to me! X3

The Bishie Photog is here! >8D Where're my bishies at, betches?! XD
Wow.... This is awesome, breathtaking and amazing. I am totally in love with this one. It looks fan-tas-tique ^^ Dear, I don't know what to say... it's so beautifully made.
I kinda feel happy when I look at it, because of it's beauty, and amazed... it's a perfect masterpiece, perfecto. Awwww.... Every small detail you've created takes my breath away. Every eyelash, every glitterstone, the lips, the perfect hair, the fingernails (aw <3), the wonderful nose and the butterfly... unbelievable, Jonas-honey-magic-artist. The reflection of the eyes and on the lips is also great. Well, I just like everything. It's totally brilliant drawn.
When I read the quote and look at the drawing I have to think of something, which is written in (one of) my favourite book. "Der Steppenwolf von Hermann Hesse". He sais that everyone is parted or splitted in thousand and thousands pieces inside. Kind of schizophenically, but more. So "Face to face, no telling lies... The masks they slide to reveal a new disguise" means to me that she discovers a new side of her every day or second... and that is not easy, of course. But all the different pieces and faces make the whole person. We are not just the one we think we are, we are so much (or many) more. After Hermann Hesse. But I share his opinion in most parts. The butterfly could be the animal in her then, which is one of the pieces. Very confusing, I know, I can't explain it so good here. But for me it makes sense Of course, I have a different background knowledge of my thoughts ^^ My interpretation doesn't fit so good to the first two lines of the quote, but it was what first came into my mind, so I wanted to share it with you. :] I absolutely love this book, and I also love this drawing. So great...
Thank you for making something that beautiful. I love you darling :] Are you fine or better again? <3
